I have created QR codes for you to use locally for 'First responders Parkinsons' training* - I have used them locally in Prinecton and continue to spread awareness. Also, I created QR codes with Training for Treatment Givers, Fitness Providers and Care Givers. Help us spread education & awareness for Parkinson’s!

*Courtesy APDA this FREE online training course is for First Responders to help people recognize the unique symptoms and needs of those with PD and enable them to provide the best and most appropriate care in the event of an emergency.  Parkinson’s Foundation training for treatment givers, Caregiver Action for caregivers etc. I used the experts, and always suggest when it  comes to medical advice, leave it to the experts.  And your doctors.

Adaptive Eating Devices

This video is about adaptive eating devices for individuals with Parkinson's disease and hand tremors.  Below the video are links to some of

the products.

ON MOBILITY

PD often leads to a shuffling gait and impaired balance. A cane or a wheeled walker may improve your ability to get around. If you freeze up when walking, a laser cane or walker can beam a line across your path. This visual cue may help break freezing episodes. This video talks about some options and how to choose them.
